It turns out that my (accidental) weight loss means more than a few numbers on the scale. This morning I went to put on a pair of pants that I bought in August. Well, they're now huge on me. In fact, if I tried to wear them, they would probably fall off. This is both good and bad news. Good because there's an actual difference in my body due to losing weight. It also serves as an incentive to continue to lose weight in a healthy manner. Bad news because there is now one less pair of pants that fit me. I think the count is now 3 pairs of pants that are too big, of which 2 I most definitely cannot wear. I'm hoping that my seamstress neighbor can take them in, but if not, that's a whole lot of money that I can't get back. Unfortunately, that works as a disincentive to losing weight because I can't afford a whole new wardrobe's worth of pants. :/
The outfit pictured here is actually from Monday. It was cold and rainy and I wanted to be warm. Also, adding in a little cheer and happiness with the pink wasn't bad either. So I chose my long cardigan and layered it over a tank top so as to not add extra bulk to my frame under the cardigan.
I found the necklace rummaging through my old jewelry in August when I went to my parent's house. I have no idea where I got it from or what its made of. All I know is that I like it decided to wear it on Monday. I've noticed that as of late, I would rather accessorize with something, even though its not "real" jewelry (fine jewelry) than not accessorize at all. This is especially true given that I have very few pieces of fine jewelry. Not that I have a whole bunch of other jewelry either. I would just rather wear something, so long as its cute, regardless of its nature than not wear jewelry when I want to. How do you decide what jewelry to wear?
The Details:
Magenta Cardigan: Target
Pink Tank: Old Navy
Jeans: Old Navy
Necklace: No idea

I always wear my engagement ring. In terms of other jewelry it just depends on what seems to go best with what I'm wearing. I think accessories are what really set outfits apart.
Yea---the only jewelry that I wear regularly is my engagement ring and the earring in my cartilage. The ring b/c I make sure to put it on everyday, the earring b/c I never take it out. I would like to wear earrings regularly, but often its a hassle and I forget.
