This is actually my favorite Capsule Challenge outfit. I've had this skirt for years, and when originally bought, it sat on my hips. I have gotten bigger whilst the skirt has stayed the same size. As a result, the skirt is now a high waisted A-line skirt. To tell you the truth, I love it this way. The length works really well and the thick waist band sits nicely at my waist. I'm definitely a fan.
Without planning on it, my pashmina ended up working perfectly with this outfit. I used it as the winter scarf to add to my Capsule Wardrobe and it came in handy. Wednesday afternoon I was freezing in a classroom while taking a Professional Responsibility midterm and the pashmina came to the rescue to keep me warm. (I got an 86 on the midterm by the way).
