Capsule Wardrobe Challenge Day 5

    Day 5 for me was Monday of this week.  I spent all of last Friday studying for my MPRE (legal ethics exam) that I took on Saturday, so I extended the challenge through to this week. For my final challenge outfit I went back to my black dress, scarf and cardigan, but this time, rather than wearing it as a blouse + skirt, I wore it as a dress + belt.  
    Even though its not in the pics, I'm really glad I took my cardigan to work with me.  Even though the weather is MUCH nicer now, it still gets rather cold in the office.  So the cardigan was perfect. 
    I think my favorite part of this outfit is the scarf.  I was able to bring some spring into my outfit AND accentuate my waist.  Also, the addition of the belt over the scarf kept the scarf in place and added some color and texture to the outfit.
    Another part that I love is the pleating details on the neckline of the dress.  Its subtle, but its there and makes an otherwise plain shift dress into something special.
